What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.

After your comment is approved, it is publicly visible. Your picture is only published on the feedback section after your written approval.

Data collected about the students through the registration form, such as master data (name, address, email address, contact details) are used by On Point Communications according to the AVG (General Data Protection Regulation).

Personal data is not to be provided to third parties.

One year after the end of your course, all assignments produced by students, that are in possession of On Point Communications, will be destroyed, unless we are allowed to use the student’s product for educational purposes with the student’s permission. 

The data about the course and the result of each student’s course, such as starting level, the final level, and course duration are kept for one year after the course has been completed for possible checks by organizations that monitor the quality of On Point Communications.

Students have the right to revoke previously given permission for the use of their data.

For what purpose and on what basis we use personal data

On Point Communications uses your personal data for the following purposes:

– Sending you our newsletter and/or digital flyer

– Calling or e-mailing you if necessary to carry out our services

– Informing you about changes to our services and products

How long we keep personal data

On Point Communications does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. 

How we secure personal data

On Point Communications takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised modification. Student data is stored digitally or on paper according to security standards that are standard for offices: computers protected by strong passwords and security software.
